John, if you go to the Main Page of the Forum and scroll to the bottom you'll find a section titled, "Smith & Wesson Forum Office."
There you can post questions to the board's owner and moderators. They will probably answer your question.
This particular section, "S&W Revolvers 1857 to 1945" is for gun discussion.
