Should be loosening up. Do you leave it open at night? Locking it open for a while can help that a lot.

It's my night gun, so at night it's loaded in its holster.

The full size and compacts all work as intended. I even have 9mm barrels and magazines for the 40s. The 380 had to go home for light strikes, but that seems to be worked out now too.

M&P 9c, haven't had a single issue that I can attribute to the gun...bad hand loads are a different thread.

I bought the original M&P 9 way back when they first came out. No problems over the years.

Between my wife and I we have 2 Shield 9's, a 40c, 2- 40FS (both with a 357Sig barrel) and a Bodyguard. My wife was limp wristing her Shield a little at first resulting in a few stovepipes but otherwise they have all been 100% with both factory ammo and my handloads.
