The firearms laws in australia are a bit strict. I would love to buy an m&p 22lr pistol but the barrel at 4.1" is to short. Does anyone know how or where to stretch a barrel to 4.75" minimum?
It is driving me crazy trying to find a 22lr full size or near. Our laws are frustrating to say the least.

welcome to the forum
i feel your frustration, in canada we have similar restrictions .if it must be an autoloader why not try a buckmark or 22a or ruger mk II ?
a model 17 is my personal favorite.
