Poor Pearl is no more....

I am very sorry for your loss, I had to bury Soft Kitty last friday morning we got her from the vet about 12 years ago, she was a little cranky and two folks had brought her back and our vet asked if we would take her so we did. It is hard to lose one, your Pearl Grey was a beautiful kitty. Also thank you Rusty1953 for fixing her picture. Jeff

You and I should have a support group. After 44 years together Ruthie and I have said goodbye to 20 cats and 2 dogs.

We remember them all including their distinctive personalities and quirks.

We are going to have to rent a Uhaul to carry all the shakeable treats when we cross the bridge.

I'm not really a cat person, but I understand the bond that can
be there. My wife says that she's not a cat OR a dog person.
But frequently I catch her petting and talking to my daughter's
Pyrenean Mountain Dog which we keep.
My wife is a fraud.

Thanks Rusty....

....that looks MUCH better.

I'm more of a dog person. But all the cats we've had have been extra special. They took to me like I was a sardine. I think they knew they had to convince me the most. But Pearl, being a female, really thought I was hot stuff. I tried not to disappoint her.

Can you believe she was bald when we found her?

It is hard to give a like to any post where someone has lost a feline friend, so with that in mind I am sorry for your loss. As our vet told us when we have lost our furry friends, the good thing is we get to enjoy and love many during our lifetime. They are gone but have left paw prints on our hearts.

Very sorry for your loss. We lost our long-haired tabby, Tuffy, this past April. He was 15 years old. We miss him every day. I truly believe we will see them again.

My sincere condolences

ALL of the dogs we had/have with my son and daughter were/are
rescues. All have blessed our lives in various ways. I cannot
fathom why anyone would send such loving, communicative,
creatures to be destroyed, or why they are simply tossed out.
I will be judged someday based on my conduct during this life.
I firmly believe that the animals we've befriended will be among
my advocates.
