Yes, that's another regional thing. It's popular in Maryland/Northern Virginia, but not in the Deep South.
The kraut with turkey thread got me to thinking about having porkchops served with applesauce. My family has always served them that way. When I bring it up around friends, they always think I'm nuts. Is this a regional thing? Most of my family is from Oklahoma and Nebraska.
Yea it's regional, though I thought it was limited to Idaho and Montana.
