It all started with the model 15-3. Shooting this Combat Masterpiece infected me with the desire to own more and more S&W's.
I know my collection is very modest compared to many here, but I am happy with each of these revolvers for different reasons.
While these four, in reality, fulfill all my revolver needs, I still am drawn to seeking out a Model 10 six inch, a 44 mag Mountain Gun, a 60-18 357 mag with the long barrel, a 22lr kit gun, a Model 34 3"...The S&W virus has a deep hold on me.
Pictured are: Model 686-1, Model 19-4, Model 38 Bodyguard, and the Model 15-3...which is still my favorite.

very nice collection. you will not be dissapointed with a .44 mountain gun. i have two and they are my favorite smiths.

You do know there is only one cure for that virus don't you? Most folks choose to live with that virus since it is mostly benign except on the wallet perhaps. Nice symptoms.

Your tastes seem similar to mine looking at your collection and wish list. The Mountain Gun will give you an N frame that seems to be lacking in your collection. I have the same void in mine and hope to fill it someday with an older N frame .44 of some sort, or possibly a 27 or 28. I also don't have a sample of the L frame which you do, but I've not gotten the hankering for any of the L offerings. You are 1 gun ahead of me so keep buying or I may catch up to you some day.
