So I sent my bodyguard back to smith for laser issues and mentioned I was having frequent FTF's. When I got the pistol back they said the had "adjusted hammer clearance". It looks like the hammer is resting more on the firing pin, and there is a slight amount of slack in the first part of the trigger pull as a result. Well I took it out to fire and it seemed to make a huge difference. I ran 70 rounds of Winchester white box and remington umc (which my gun used to Ftf one out of every three rounds of) and had zero FTF's at all. My primer striker seem much deeper and clearer than before. I don't really understand how, but it seems to have made a big difference on primer strike strength!
