Possible Scamer

I had a WTB post looking for Vintage Model 41 Magazines. Got contacted by e-mail by Len Len, who claimed to have one for sale. Asked for a picture and a price and got a response that he had 11 of them and how many did I want. I responded that I still needed a price and picture and he went away.

By his e-mail address and his wording, I do not believe that English is his first language and even that he lives in the U.S.

After searching various combinations of User Names and E-mail address, I think there is a high probability that it was an attempted Scam.

If in doubt - RUN!

You can usually find the older vintage M41 Mag's on ebay but check the sellers approval ratings before buying. Most are excellent!

Don't bother with the LGS's as I have already done that (I live near you) and they rarely if ever have them for sale separate, (just new ones). I bought 3 new ones at Hunter Sports last year and getting them to fit into the gun was almost impossible. One was so bad, it had to go back to S&W for replacement and even after that, I spent an hour fitting it. The older metal follow type are the way to go. Pricy, but worth it!
