I have a 586 no dash, post 18. I am all into blued revolvers by preference. BUT....... my 686-6 is more fun to shoot than the 586. The lines appeal to me. It was a gun that I saw that I had to have. Did have a 686-3, 6" that I traded off. Bob

excuse the 686 brother in picture. This is my -1 nickel 4" 586 (has M on cylinder) gifted to me by my late Father-in-Law. He definitely started my love affair for Smith wheel guns and this officially was the start of my "family". Thanks everyone for the wonderful eye candy!
