Hey Mark. It's the nature of a public forum to get differing opinions. You know,everybody has one. Don't get so bent out of shape over something that is relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things. There's some crusty old fossils on here that love to claw at soft underbellies.

I have that same holster still in the original packaging. It is an issue holster, not a fake. The NSN is 1095-00-973-0521 and the part number is 7791495. Mine is dated 3/85 and shows a contract date of 1984. It is a late issue holster, true, but it is the genuine article.

I thought I had made it clear on page 1 that it wasn't a fake???
