I can't decide between a 6-9'' bipod or 7-13''. Post up pictures with your bipods fully extended, preferrably with the magazines in. Is 9'' too short for mag clearance? thanks for the help in advance... and be sure to post which size your bipod is.

Hey, i think I can answer this one! You want the big one, the smaller one will not allow you to bench it without raising the butt end up in the air to clear the magazine. You can look at the threads by me to see mine on the last page of the 15-22 picture thread (Oops, crap, it's not extended in that picture...). I have a UTG Ambi Foldable Tactical.

CrazyFingers and Panzerslayer: Who makes the fold down sights you both have on your 15-22?

thanks guys i think I should be able to get away with the 9''. heres my dilemma, this "TWS" for $40 is alot closer in design to the Harris, has spring loaded legs, and already comes with the topside picatinny mount. The odd part is that it is only sold from one seller on amazon, and I can't find anything about the company that makes it. Overall reviews on it remain very positive though.

,

Then theres the UTG Tactical op in 7-13 which is less like the harris, but has the longer legs. no functional spring loaded legs, the top mount is slightly different.

I think now that i can get away with the 6-9, i'll try out this TMS and see how it works. The overall appearance is slightly nicer imo.

I have a lot of UTG stuff, but the BiPod I had from UTG was a complete fail, it fell apart after I extended the legs a few times.

I am running a Shooters Ridge which is nearly as expensive as the Harris, but Caldwell makes a Harris Clone which is much more attractively priced and they seem to be well reviewed.

As Jav posted prior, my flip up sights are Magpul. To Brett's point I also favor the Shooters Ridge/Harris clone over UTG.

does anyone have either caldwell or TMS? i would be interesting to compare the two, since they are both the same price.

Here's a photo of the one I use. It is by CAA

Color on M&P

6-9" Partially extended

Brett248Vista,

What type of paint did you use to fill in the M&P, safe & fire on your lower receiver? Do you have any suggestions on what type of paint I should use? I really like the look. I recently purchased a S&W M&P 15-22 and a H&K MP5 A5 .22LR. Both are great to shoot but I have to say my preference is the M&P 15-22 and I'm in the process of adding as many accessories as possible.

Anyone have experience with this, the foregrip bipod?

Tactical Bipod Foregrip

I have this on my gun, it's awesome. Only issue I have with it is when the bipod is extended, there is a little left to right "play" in the rifle, but it's sturdy enough that you can compensate for it by just putting a little more pressure on the rifle.
