I lifted the above quote from a Gun Policies page (by the way that permit from the Defense Ministry is almost impossible to get unless you are very well connected) In view of the amount of murders and almost outright war going on down there between the military/police and the drug cartels Mexico would seem to be a glowing example that gun control cuts down on violence is a failed notion
