I cruised by my favorite LGS / Range today and they had a modest restock of powder. They had both CFE-Pistol and Tite Group for $30 per pound. I didn't need any CFE-P as I have an adequate supply but I could use some more Tite Group so I scored some. They have also been getting in regular shipments of XTreme plated bullets for several weeks now.

Maybe, just maybe, things are loosening up a bit. Still no primers, but I stocked up a couple years back so I am not hurting.

I saw all 3 CFE powders at Fin, Fur & Feather in Ashland last week. They were about $44 a single pound and they had larger canisters too. Good quality bullets (Barns and Hornady) were in limited supply buy as high as $75/100 for target rifle varieties.

They had Tight Wad (one of the formerly cheapest shotgun powders too) for $44 a single pound.

Don't know what your LGS charges for the Xtreme bullets, but the website has bullets on sale (about 10%). 115 gr. 9mm are $48/500. Pre pandemic price was $36, and they regularly ran them on sale 10-20% off. By my calculations, $48 is 33% more than pre pandemic prices. I guess if you need them, not a horrible price. I'll still be waiting until the price comes down a bit more. I've used Xtreme for years and always been happy. :)

Powder, though higher in price, hasn't been the limiting factor this time, it's been primers. I'm afraid we're going to have to resign ourselves to a "new standard" of $30/lb for most powders, but I can't even guess what's going to be the market price of primers even when things "get back to normal." I'm glad I hoarded components enough to survive the likely extent of my shooting career, but it was just dumb luck rather than conscious planning.

I scored a pound of CFE Pistol for $24.50 at Powder Valley last week however the hazmat fee and shipping made it an expensive shopping trip.
