Have to ask again if there are those out there that would mind keeping my Father in your prayers. If an amputation can be called simple, he went in for his second amputation and came out fine. The pain meds were new to him and may have caused the problems, but he has aspirated and is now in ICU with pneumonia and was in really bad shape for awhile. I pray he gets back to the way he was after his surgery. Thank you to all that will do this for my Dad. Bud

Prayers sent - blessings to you and your family. We have a loving Father that is showers us with mercy, grace and peace in the most difficult times.

Bud, prayers sent for quick and complete healing for your father, no long term effects from the meds and peace and comfort for you and your family in knowing the Lord is present in all of this.

Blessings,
Hog

It's at times like this that we can come together in unity, for one purpose, to pray for someone even though we started as strangers. We're strangers no longer, united in faith. We'll pray for you and your father. You are never alone.

Thanks for the prayers

My Father and best friend has passed away. Thank you for all the prayers, but it was his time. Wounded in action during his second enlistment with the 82nd Airborne during WWII, he was lucky to live. He never sought payment for his wounds from the government or a Purple Heart. World War II veterans were a different breed of people.

It was an honor to share part of his life with him, and he treated my Mother with the love and respect she so deserved. He took her many places she could never have gone without him. He never abused her.

With the two of them gone, my wife and I will have a void for awhile trying to adjust. We can start to try and restructure our life together after the grieving and pain eases into joy. He left a very large pair of shoes I will never be able to fill.

I know many of you have already gone through this. You have my condolences. I can only say I know a bit of how you must feel now.
My Dad was truly a great man, to me at the very least. May he rest in peace with my Mother.

I am sorry to hear of your loss and I feel your pain, having lost both my parents.

You are right about WWII vets being a different breed. They were Americans with a mission.

Take the memories of him with you every where. They will help fill the void.

I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. A good man gone,
but not forgotten. Your memories of him will be a blessing in
the future. TACC1
