Prayer request for forum member bigwheelzip

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" She said to him, "Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world." - John 11:25-27 (ESV)

I am heartbroken tonight, as are we all. Mary's posts were always positive, upbeat, cheerful, and informative, and I always looked forward to reading what she had to say.

I am so terribly sorry for her loss...may she rest in peace, and may her memory always be a blessing to her friends and loved ones. :(

My deepest condolences for your loss. I will be praying you and your family and hoping some day only the good memories will be with you instead of your loss.

The Lord's gain is your and our loss. Prayers that you find comfort and peace in the knowledge that she was so loved, well thought of and deeply missed by all who knew her, even if it was only through the internet. :(

Such sad news…….

Deepest condolences on your loss.

Thoughts and prayers sent to you and family….

RIP Mary!

May this poem bring some bit of comfort to you and your family. God Bless.

Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying...
