You are on my prayer list. I golf with a friend who is 87 and was diagnosed with bladder cancer over seven years ago. Never give up.

Wishing you a smooth transaction thru everything. I am about 5 weeks ahead of you with bladder cancer. The urologist went in to look about a month ago and I had a TURBT to remove the main tumor and small tumors on May 2nd. Had a MRI Tuesday evening and now have a 70% chance of prostate cancer to work through also.
Waiting on the surgery schedule dept to call for a second TURBT to see if it’s in the muscle of the bladder, so far it is in the lining. Also need a biopsy of the prostate now to see what stage that cancer is in. The bladder is in stage 1 so far. Hopefully they will do both the same day.
Watch going on the internet to discover things about what you have, you can draw wrong conclusions. I learned that with bypass surgery 2 years ago. If you need to talk, I can tell you kinda what to expect with what I am going thru, you can be slightly different. Everything so far has been easier than what I thought or heard, sending PM with my phone number. I am currently trying to be positive everything is gonna be mild stages of cancer but sometimes tough, Larry

one of our lunch bunch was in an advanced stage of bladder cancer 5 years ago. That’s Frank, Navy UDT, on the lower right, now @87, no cancer.

What a great opportunity for my 1000th. Post!
My son a few years ago, at the age of 33, a non-smoker, a non-drinker and who doesn’t work in an environment for pre-conditioning, was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He went through a couple of surgical procedures and BCG treatments with countless cystoscopes and is now considered “cancer free”. He and my daughter in law are expecting their second child in November! There is light at the end of the tunnel- What was one time considered an older man’s cancer is now all over the place- but treatment options abound with great success. Good luck Brother!
