As some of you remember, Paul suffered a major medical setback in July. It was a grueling and painfully long road back and he was doing well. He lost a lot of weight and met a very special woman and they captured each others hearts.

I had lost contact with Paul in November and none of my calls or texts were returned. Color me worried.

I just received this text from him.

"Sorry to hear about your mom.

I almost died on Thanksgiving from brain bleed/stroke. In rehab now. Not much strength. Prayers please."
