Prayers for Ringo Kid
I just wanted to add my comments to those that the OP has made, and the other forum members, too.
I've had the pleasure of speaking with The Ringo Kid a few times on the telephone and have always been impressed. He's a straight-shooter! He also pretty much personifies all of the same character traits for the great Texans that I know, (Natives, and "Naturalized" like me). These medical problems that he has now have kept him from being at the top of his game.
My thoughts will also be for him for this week during the surgical procedures, and for the coming weeks as he recovers. I also hope that the entire surgical and medical teams will have their greatest successes that they have ever had.
If anyone deserves it, Carl does!!

Been thinking about him on and off since he let it be known that he was having surgery. A little more today and tomorrow. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
