pre 27 letter

I posted about a pre 27 that I had purchased,I got the letter back and it stated the following serial # S 75523, 3 1/2"barrel,
blue finish, checkered walnut Magna grips. Shipped January 30 1950 to Straus Frank Company San Antonio,Texas. It has few handling marks and a scuff on the side plate at the logo, but appears to have been shot very little, I hope I look this good at that age.

I have a birthday of 13 Jan. 1950. Your gun is close. I already have two 3 1/2 inch Pre-27's. My 2 guns are several years later.
If some day you decide to part with it, send me a post, I could have a Birthday Gun. I have bought many K22's looking for Jan of 1950 and all I got for it was a safe with lots of K22's.
