Yes. A large number in the K157xxx range shipped in October, 1952 (I own one of them). So sometime earlier that year would be an excellent estimate for one in the K146xxx vicinity.

Bracketing from a few SNs I show on my listing either side of yours, I'd say shipping was mid-1952.

This revolver was shipped 5-1949 to a sporting goods store in Sacramento, CA. Not far from the store I bought it from. Has the 1/10" front sight, but no mention of that in the letter. The letter on my 1947 K22 does mention the 1/10" sight. Big Larry
