Pre model 10 dating

Sorry I couldn’t find this on my own. I have a pre-model 10 that is serial number C 183434. All parts match and it has a short barrel. Can you give me a rough estimate of its date? Much appreciated gents!

As is often said, the only way to be certain is to request a letter, but this revolver likely shipped in 1951 or 1952.

Here is another one, with a little bit higher number and a 4" barrel: C189212, shipped in November 1951.

It would be fair to say that yours shipped either in 1951 or 1952.
