Can anyone narrow the year range on C1668xx? According to the Bible, should be betwixt '48 & '51. Thanx.

It's my impression that there was some serious out-of-order shipping on the early short-action M&Ps. I'd think 1951 is most probable for your gun, but it could have stayed in the vault until 1952 or 1953.
