So tomorrow after church is another range day. I'm pumped about it for a few reasons:

1. I don't get to go to the range that often
2. I really enjoy shooting the 15-22
3. I got a new NC Star red dot sight/laser combo that I really want to sight in!
4. Any day spent shooting a gun is a good day indeed!

I'll post pics of the day in case y'all wanted to keep tabs. Last time we shot 650 rounds without a single misfire, FTE, FTF, or loading issue. Every single shot went without a single problem. Single shot, rapid fire, and everything in between.

I got smart(er) and purchased another mag so lets hope less time is spent loading and more time is spent shooting!

Another? Just one?

Realistically, if you are going to shoot more than a hundred rounds or so on an outing, you need eight to 10 magazines. More is better ...

There's no such thing as too many magazines or too much ammo!

well he could have bought the 240 round adapted round drum
then 1 might just possibly be enough............ nope ;)

You are welcome to your drum. One of the guys at my local range had one of the BlackDog drums let several of us try it out. None of us tried to talk him out of it. :)

I prefer to look like a warrior, not a Chicago hoodlum. :D

I remember the good ol' days when you could buy 22's in 50 round little boxes and same for bricks of ammo. I always bought enough (10 round) mags to load at least 100 rounds. A little pricy, but I'd want at least 12-25 rounders for the 15-22. Never can have enough mags or ammo.

11 25-rounders and 5 10-rounders (short). I'm seriously considering another 10 25-rounders. That way I can carry a complete box of 525 (not counting the shorties) and not have to worry about reloading. I may add another 5 10-rounders. They are so convenient for bench shooting.

BTW, you can fit 21 long and 21 short magazines (at the same time) in a Cabela's Dry Box: three layers of seven magazines each. There's JUST enough room to put the long and short end to end. That would make 675 rounds at hand. :D

Yea tell me about it I wish I did not live in a low capacity mag nanny state.

Bummer! Connecticut may has some dumb things in our AWB (like no adjustable stock), but restricted mag capacity isn't one of the things, although the mongrels keep snapping at our heels!

Yup 10 round mags go fast and the non adjustable stock annoys the wife with her short arms.

Now no sugar beverages over 16oz in NYC. The NYS government will be raising our kids for us in no time.

Ah yes, can't have a Big Gulp, but they can get free condoms at school!

I have five magazines for my 15-22 and they are never enough! But I also have a grandson who loves to shoot my 15-22 and he is a cracker-jack magazine loader so I'm doing okay for now. Besides, when he's busy running the M&P, I'm going old-school with a Henry Golden Boy and smiling with every swing of the lever. Happiness is TWO very cool .22LR rifles at the range!
