I was just curious about anyone who has ordered reloaded ammunition from Precision Delta as to what their experience was with it. I finally got my 9mm evaluation packs in from them and was hoping to go to the range today with some of it. It doesn't look like any of the reloaded ammunition is reloaded with their cartridge cases as I see all kinds of manufacturer cases in the box. What else kind of surprised me is that none of the cartridge cases are brass and they are all plated.

I ordered one of their .45ACP sample packs (250 rounds) about a month ago and after waiting 3 weeks I followed up to check the status of the order. I was advised they did not have enough .45 brass to fill the orders. I canceled my order ... they were very friendly and helpful though. Maybe next time.

Burned through 100 rounds of my 250 round evaluation pack and did not have any problems with my M&P9c or my Kahr PM9. Shot pretty well and would consider buying again. Hopefully I don't have to buy too much ammo for too much longer. Looking into reloading myself here really soon after I finish reading the Speer Reloading Manual (already finished ABC's and Lyman 49th) and convince my wife that I should buy the Dillon Square Deal B press! :D I've got 4000 primers, 2000 bullets, and 8lbs of powder on backorder which should be coming in the next few weeks.

More then likely the cases are nickle because they are using police range clean up brass. Most LE ammo is loaded in nickle cases. Its a carry over from the old days of nickle 38 and 44 rounds carried in belt loops.

Some companys pay to pick up the spent LE brass so they can clean it and the make...................
"Re-manufactured Ammo"

Sort of like, "Pre-owned Cars" ... it just sounds better.

Some companys have quality powders and loading while some shove in anything that will burn and you get a lot of smoke and junk with it.
You can tell after a box if the ammo is woth buying again.
