Precision ONe Ammunition

I've been buying ammo from Jeff and Bruce for over a year - no issues whatsoever. Great stuff!
Their ammo is one of the best on the market (my opinion) - others have stated otherwise.
Great customer service each time I've seen them.
I travel between NC & SC to various shows and when I need ammo - only one choice for me.
So quit crying like girls and man up. If you don't like his ammo, go else where. There's enough dealers out there that will charge more than Jeff or Bruce.

Perhaps you should re-read my posts. I wouldn't term any of my posts crying. If you want to pay outrageous prices for reloads go right ahead. For my money, I'll go to Wal-Mart and get first quality ammo for less.

But that's just me.

If you can find any...

I have thanks.

And much cheaper than what Precision ONe is offering their cut rate reloads for.

Just a bit of advice....as a new guy, saying people are "crying" about stuff isn't the best way to start off.

But hey, what do I know.

ditto

new to all this, but my experience has been very good; company responsive. sourced ammo through bangit and pre-1. everything went swimmingly. ammo performed as expected (new and remanu). noted the physical location of the address for pre-1; probably the business/mailing address. these guys are not hornady or whatever large manufacturer, with mega bucks locked into massive facilities and advertising. surprised they can keep up with demand at all (which says something nice about the desirability of their product). BTW, when entering the shooting sports, was informed that "everyone" is ready to offer help and useful advice. gotta say, there are a lotta folks on these forums who are harsh, for no reason. but then, i am a newbie and maybe don't understand the cut-throat nature of the gun world yet.

I think precision ammo is great and at a great price! I buy ammo from them all the time in just about every caliber. I have no problems what so ever. Feeding, ejection, accuracy etc... everyone knows the rules on returns of ammo. You always check before you leave the store. I have made mistakes my self. Sounds to me like a bunch of people ganging up on one manufacturer cause someone didnt check their ammo before they left the table.

Gotta say,
I just bought my first 100 Rnds from Precision One.
380 ACP 90 GR. HP/XTP. Put all of them through a BG380 with less than
100 previous rounds since new. NOT one single failure to fire, NOT one single Failure to eject,
and seemed to be much cleaner than WWB, WTD, and Academy brand Monarch.
Accuracy was outstanding. 6 shot groups under 1" at 15 feet using laser.
Made original purchase online. Processing was fast and easy.
Shipping arrived in a timely manner and communication from Precision One, was as I would expect.

I will certainly give them another order the next time I need a quality product.

I would never buy ammo from a company that does take returns, think about it.
Unfortunately I have a job that requires me to work with some rude customers, the ones that are not rude are the ones that get free bees.
I bought some 25-35 win ammo by mistake, needed 25 rem......my mistake no swearing or yelling needed, now I have an excuse to buy another gun

PrecisionONe Ammunition 10mm FMJ 250 Round Mega Pak

I purchased 250 rounds of PrecisionONe 10mm Full Metal Jacket. Only took 3 or 4 days to receive through BangItAmmo.com (West Jordan UT) Went to the range yesterday and ran 120 rounds through a Glock Model 20 with a Wolf 5.15" Stainless, un-marked barrel. Not one failure to feed, eject or fire. While I don't have a chronograph, this stuff is pretty hot! Happy with the purchase. I also received a Mega Pak of .45 GAP. The price is right for sure.

I'm also a buyer of their new manufacture (not reloads) .380 ACP with the XTP bullet in 50 rd. boxes. The price is good… less than other .380 HP ammo. Also found it reliable and accurate enough in a P380. I waited until it was in stock and no problem with the online order or shipping.

Precision One Ammunition

I agree, I have 2 .38's and 2 9mm's, purchased Precision One Ammo from Jeff at Greenville, SC gun show for both calibers I have fired more than 1000 rounds in all four weapons with out a single incident. Ammo was available, price was right, vendor was polite, got receipts for all transactions. Next show in Greenville will be Apr 18-19. Will purchase more if need be.

Their 357Sig is outstanding! One of my favorite practice loads.... and I have shot many company's offerings!!

This is one of those Zombie threads that just keeps coming back to life.

What amazes me are the number of posts back in 3013 and 2014 in this thread by people posting for their first or second time after having just joined the forums. They appear on both sides of this issue. I certainly would not rely on what appear to be shill posts when deciding on whether or not to do business with a company.

In Re: PRECISION ONE Ammunition.

Yes, this does appear to be a Zombie thread. But when one Zombie repeatedly rises from the grave, it's usually not a good thing.

In 2014 my daughter (a student at USC, Columbia, SC,) attended a gun show where Precision One maintained a booth for the purpose of selling ammunition. She had recently purchased her first handgun and was trying to find more .40 S&W FMJ for range / practice use. Admittedly, at the time she was a novice gun owner as well as an uninformed consumer. Additionally, the friend she was with wasn't much wiser. Unfortunately, their focus was on "cheap prices" as opposed to "quality products at fair prices."

Ultimately, she purchased two 50 count boxes of what she believed to be "new" Precision One .40 S&W 165 grain FMJ ammunition. This ammo was packaged in the manufacturer's full color lithographed boxes with a white printed label on one flap identifying the caliber, weight, and bullet type. Also, the price "$16.99" was printed on a second peel-n-stick label. The boxes were high quality lithographed cartons comparable to established nationally marketed ammunition brands.

Now, fast forward six months and she has purchased another handgun which she likes more than the .40 S&W; but can't afford to keep both. So, like a good Daddy I bought the S&W .40 and all the ammo from her with the intent of reselling it. Having no experience with 'Precision One Ammunition' I tried to find their ballistics stats online. Guess what... Nothing to be found. {{{YELLOW FLAG.}}} So, I called their office in Charleston, SC.

The young woman who answered Precision One's phone was pleasant and very professional. However, in response to my questions concerning muzzle velocity and energy produced by this round out of a 4" barrel, she stated "We don't advertise that information." {{{ORANGE FLAG!}}} When I asked if someone was available to answer my questions, she said: "No, but I'll ask the owner if he calls in, and I'll call you back." To my surprise, an hour later she called back with half an answer: 1030 fps.

At this, I asked if the price on the box "$16.99" was retail, or the show price? Her answer: "If they are reloads, that's the correct retail price." {{{RED FLAG!!}}} So, I looked on both boxes and found nothing to indicate this was reloaded ammunition. Then, I opened the boxes and found, to my chagrin, these were in fact reloaded rounds. When I asked why the boxes or labels did not state "Reloaded" or "Remanufactured" ammunition, her response was simply: "If the word "NEW" isn't on the label, all their ammo is reloaded." {{{BLACK FLAG!!!}}}

Yes, it's my daughter's fault for not asking. Plus, my fault for not teaching her to be more inquisitive. But, as we now live 500 miles apart, I can't be there to warn her of such things. However, in the +forty-two years that I have been purchasing ammunition, this is my first experience where reloads were NOT clearly identified as such.

So, "CAVEAT EMPTOR!" when dealing with PRECISION ONE Ammunition.

Follow up 5-26-2015: PRECISION ONE'S owner, Jeff Oneal, called late this afternoon. He explained that as a relatively new, small ammunition manufacturer, he has not had the time to post all ammo specifications on their website. Also, as they presently use a two line product label, there's not enough room to state "Remanufactured Ammunition" on this label with the caliber, weight and bullet type. However, they will be changing this in the future. Jeff was polite and informative. As such, I'll accept his explanation, and will be watching for improvements to his product specifications and labeling.

There is a Youtube video on the Best 380 Ammo to get for effectiveness...
[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNtPHYwcDts[/ame]

They reviewed at least A DOZEN brands... the guy said Precision ONE is the BEST hands down. According to him... it's a very small company (and Obviously in no position to piss customers off !!)
IF you go to their site, 380 ACP : Precision ONe Ammunition, Dont Shoot Twice Shoot Precision ONe
and read... they Specifically say it is "NEW Brass".
After watching the video... I was impressed.

Percision One ammo

I have to speak up. I have had a lot of experience with this ammo.
I know Jeff and he is a good guy.
I have shot his .223, 9mm, .45, and 380.
I have never had a problem with any of his ammo.

He is a small buisness man and he does everything he can to make very high quality product.

Just because one or 2 internet idiots have to trash him, that doesn't mean he makes a bad product.
You should check your **** before you start screaming like mlm little girls on the web.
The guy is just trying to make a living and sell a quality product.

I never heard of them until you drug this thread out of the graveyard. I looked up the website and just checked his new 40 S&W ammo pricing and he's very competitive to my costs loading the same thing with new brass. Using the same 165 grain JHP Zero bullet, I can load that round for around 35 cents a round and his pricing in 250 round and 500 round packs average 38 cents per round.

Checking his remanufactured ammo for the same round isn't quite as easy, as he uses a Berry's plated bullet in 165 grain. But his pricing is at around 24 cents a round and I can reload around 18 cents a round or a little less using the Zero 165 grain JHP bullet.

I don't have a dog in this hunt one way or the other since I pretty much reload everything I shoot. But it's been a long long time since this thread was first started and a company can improve and grow a lot in 8 years. And I don't take drive by posters too seriously, since they are just trying to spread dirt on someone or some company they have a grievance against.
