I'm looking to pick up some speedloaders for my 28-2 and was wondering what brand you guys prefer?
I like the Safariland Comp IIs. They're light, compact enough to keep one in your pocket, the loaded rounds don't rattle, and they're cheap.
Now the rub. Safariland has not made the Comp l style speedloader for the six shot N frame .357 guns like the 28 or 27 in probably 15 years.
Ditto on Dade's (shown mid-front row in pic). I cannot speak for every brand, don't drop them...rounds will be rolling around everywhere. For N-Frame speedloaders, my choice is the Dade Screw Machine Products speedloaders.
Rounds are retained by a circumferential spring and a simple push of the knob chambers them.
