Hello to all,
I live in France and I am a collector of old weapons and other objects of military origin with a preference for the Allied armies of the Second World War.
I am always curious to know the history and origin of the objects I own and nothing better than the shared experience in this field.
I am also a sports shooter, instructor and competition referee.
I own a dozen old and newer S&Ws.

Bonjour and welcome to the forum from South Carolina.
You're probably in the best place to have an interest in militaria.

Welcome from North Texas! I love to see folks from around the world with an interest in firearms. There are many people on this forum with lots of knowledge of military arms as well as S&W handguns.

Bonjour! Bienvenue! Welcome to the Forum. You will like it here, it is the best place for all things about Smith and Wesson. There are also a number of military collectors with very good information on a wide range of topics.

Welcome from Virginia

Welcome to the Forum!

My job before I retired took me to Frankenthal Germany many times and then would need to drive by auto to our factories in Chateauroux, & Annecy France. Very pleasant drive in the summer...not so much in winter.:D

Please post some pics of your Military items and of course, your S & W's. We absolutely love pics on here, and it is always a treat to view another's treasured items.

Can you legally keep your firearms at home in France? How did you come to own your WWII firearms? Buy from private persons, dealers only, etc. Do you shoot actively at club or range?

welcome to the party... from the middle of the USA.. Nebraska... I am an accumulator not a collector.. but have ended up with a few military collectables anyway.. and like others have mentioned.. we like pictures here.

Welcome from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Visited your country 8 years ago. The folks in Normandy treated my wife and I like royalty. Stayed in St. Mereglise for four days and toured the area in a rental car.

Picture of me atop Point Du Hoc.
