Pretty sure I'm done . . .

a 586 or a 686 would be good to have in there.

You do have a very nice collection of some great Smith and Wesson Revolvers.

That's just so funny!!!! Especially to me, because I have so many and don't even consider .22s as a part of my Smith & Wesson collection. My S&W wheelguns are all .38s/.357s. I have around 20 S&W revolvers, with one on the way shortly, and who knows what others will attract my attention to build the collection. How is it ever done? How do you define done?

I have friends with 2 and 3 times as many guns as I do, rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers, derringers, etc. I have around 80, at least ten to fifteen different calibers/gauges, and if I hadn't sold or traded or given away at least a couple of dozen I'd be in 3 digits. How are any of us ever DONE?

VERY FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

I've also got a 6906 . . . .

Was just going to say that if you're done with revolvers then you need to expand into 3rd Gen Pistols (or 2nd Gen or 1st Gen or Performance Center, or rimfire pistols).

If all you have is a 6906... you ain't done yet my friend, there's a brave new world awaiting you. :D:D:D

But if you're really not into the auto loaders either, I can certainly understand your take about being done.

I had about 1/2 the number of what you have and thought I was done... that is until I joined this forum and let myself be talked into falling in with this pack of reprobate lemmings we have here that insist on repeatedly taking the plunge off of the S&W cliff.

Can you image what we'd do to the prices of S&W's if all of us here turned loose of what we have, all at once, due to some unknown zombie like affliction?:D

Can't tell if you have a nickel revolver or not. If not, add that to the list.
Just realized I left my U.S. Navy Victory off the list . . .
Okay. You have the 5-screw covered. I'll add to my list:

An old S&W top-break revolver.

I'm not a collector. Here's my Smith and Wesson inventory. Can't think of anything else I need:

10-5 4"
10-5 2"
13-4 3"
28-2 4"
60 2"
36 2"
64-2 2"
66-2 4"
317 2"
637-1 2"
640 2"

Not into multiples, and not into larger calibers. I look at that list and it makes me smile.

I must say, you own more Smiths in 38 S&W Special Ctg. than I do.

But let's go shoot an N frame in 45 Caliber and see if we can get
the smirk off your face.
Then you can tell me you are not ''Into larger calibers''.

Good luck

I recall someone famous uttering the words: " I will quit buying Smith & Wesson firearms when they pry my credit card from my cold, dead hands" no wait.. I got that quote mixed up.

My first was a 6" 586 and i thought I was going to be done once I found a 3" model 66. Still haven't got that 66 but a 2"10-5, 2" 36, 3" 60-15, & 3" 64-3 found its way into the safe. Funny how that happened.

Muss please...

Two things are part of the deal with collectors.. The disease is unstoppable and it generally comes with Tourette Syndrome...

And another thing... My father said if you own two of anything you are a collector... Sorry u r one... Where is the Triple lock, k32, k38. K22. 57. 53...
Get back on it son!! ;)

You're like a person with no kids. You can look at your little collection and think you have a great life, because you've never really lived. If you ever round out the collection you'll know what I mean, but if you don't, you'll continue to think you're happy.

I do not know your age but as I got older I sold off a lot of S&W revolvers from my collection because they were safe queens. I still have a 11 and I will even thin that herd now that I just turned 70. But no matter what I sell I was always keep a S&W revolver in 22LR because to me they are the best. Mine would be a 17-4 with 8 3/8 barrel that I can still hit the brass end of a shotgun shell at 15 yards at 70 year old.
