I have a CS-1 3",RB. With the box and tools. Shot very little slight turn line. Would $900.00 for an asking price be reasonable? Thanks for any advise.

That is a BUY IT RIGHT DANG NOW kind of price!!!

If it has not been drug behind a truck, or messed with by bubba, it is a really good deal on a hard to find and desirable gun.

Where is it offered for sale?

If you want to sell it REALLY fast, $900 would do it in less than a minute, it might take 90 seconds at $1200, and two minutes at $1500. They sell for stupid prices, especially with a 3" barrel. Good luck.

Thanks for the sage advise. I guess I was on the low side. I will probably put it up for sale at your suggested price in the next couple of weeks. I am not interested in gouging anyone just want to get a good price for it. I will probably offer it here first as I would prefer a Smith collector get it rather than some barbarian.

Have one like you describe. Correct box and papers. 2 M stamp. 2000 would not get it. Also have a 4 inch likewise. My advice is to hang on about 2 years and get 4000 for it. My experience with GB is that on Sunday nights there must be plenty of whisky and beer in the fridge if you get my drift.

Yep, have the 3" like described by the OP but also had factory wood combats in the box. Found it a a local Gun Show about a year ago. Seller had $1700 on it but I decided to ask what he'd take for it. He came back with $1500. After paying I caught myself almost running to my truck on the parking lot thinking the guy would change his mind before I left.

Well I don't want to sell it to a flipper/reseller. I want to sell it to someone that would appreciate it for what it is, not as profit. I guess it will be hard to filter those types out.
