Hi,

I have a colleague interested in buying my 1970's vintage Model 29-2. It is a nickeled, 8 3/8" bbl, with all "target" features. I'm the original owner. I brought it and shot it probably less than 300 rounds and it has traveled all over the world in its original wood case and outer cardboard covering. Have all original accessories and paper.

What is a fair price for this gun? I saw similar gun posted in GunsAmerica and GunBroker.com in the high 900 and one was over 1000.

Last year I bought three 8 3/8" N frames off one guy a 27-2 29-2 & a 57 all three very close to NIB for $700 a piece with the presentation boxes and we both thought it was a fair deal for both of us, now they are $800-$1000 all day, something about a smith in a pres box gets me going! Sounds like a nice gun with all the orig stuff. Keep it you'll regret it if you had it that long.
