Price check on 66 no dash

Hello, today I picked up a mod 66 no dash down at the local pushers shop. It is pinned and recessed, 2.5 inch barrel, fixed stainless front sight, rubber grips. No box or papers. Looks like it is good shape just needs a good scrubbing. Can anyone give me a ball park price on that ? Thanks for your time.

I'm no expert when it comes to price, but I've been looking for a S&W 66 forever and had a couple of really good deals fall through and been really frustrating. But all of those were on -3 or -4s for ~$400-450. I'd have to guess that is worth at least $550-600, assuming good condition, but it would help to see pics...

66 price

From what Ive seen on the auction sites, a 66 no dash snubby brings $550-$700 depending on condition, box, papers, etc. Here in Louisiana, the price would be somewhat lower, but location affects market price. YMMV

Sir, you have what some consider to be a Holy Grail of semi modern S&W's. Prices have been all over the place on these. I would think somewhere in the $475 to $550 as described. There great CCW's and love to be shot I have put some 20K rounds through mine in the last 25 years and it is still going strong. Go out and put some rounds through it ASAP! Kyle

I had one on my watch list a while ago and I believe it sold for $560.. but these sought after guns seem to fluctuate alot, for instance I was dumb founded the other day when I saw a 66-3 3" exc. cond. no box or paper, sell for over $1200.00
I got mine out of the safe and was going to take pictures to list it when my wife stopped me..Check out the listing below

Thanks for the reply guys, I was so lucky on price on this one, $400 out the door. I have been very fortunate on my shopping this last year. Last Jan I scored a 586 L comp in perfect condition for $600 and in May found a 66 3 inch for $500. Now, if I can just find a 3 inch model 19........

Unbelievable... You have no idea how many 66s that I thought I was first in line on or that the seller has backed out on me on and you are getting those insanely good deals, that's frustrating! But good for you, just don't get too greedy!

Model 66s with a 3" barrel will always bring top dollar. This is probably one of the best revolvers S&W has ever made. If you ever see one for under $1000 it would be suprising.
