Price check on a NIB 629-6 3"

Hey guys, a local person is selling his NIB 629-6 with 3" barrel. It has hogue overmold grips. It is not a classic (no full underlug?). I don't know much more about it, not sure if it's a distributor special run or not. I tried to find some comparable prices but not a lot of info on a standard 3". He is asking $900 which i think is probably high, but he says the 3" is rare. I don't really believe that, but i'm not a S&W expert.

The 3-inch 629 is still in production by Smith & Wesson. I paid $ 750 for mine, brand new.

I bought a new 3" 629 Talo from Buds Guns in December for $797. Beautiful piece. Great trigger.
