Price check on the 550rd Federal 22lr

Just wondering what a good price on this ammo is.

I want to keep my eyes peeled for it when I'm out so I can stock up.

Same here in Az. If they carry the Federal 375 packs, they are a little bit cheaper per round. If I remember, the 375 packs work out to 3.2 cents/round and the 550 packs are 3.4 cents/round.

Okay.....called WalMart and they have the Federal 550 packs for $16.

I may swing buy there and pick up a couple boxes next time I'm in the area.

$19 for 555 in VA. The 333 box is almost the same per round here at $11.50. If you can get them for $16, it is a good deal.

The 333 is Winchester isn't it? The Federal 375 should be $11.49. 42 rounds more for a penny less, sounds like a deal to me.

I picked up an box and went through about 150 rounds. Does anyone else and issues with this ammo? They sound very muted, almost like a dud. I also find a lot of debris comes out of the ejection port in my face (I'm left handed). The other brands I've tried were Winchester Xpert and 555's. Those sounded more of like a snap and ran through clean.
