I do not have this in hand,I think it is a model 28 in sn range s129000
from what I can tell it is very good cond. What would be a ball park figure
this would be worth? Thats not alot of info but that is about all I have

The standard answer is that it all depends on condition. The range may be from $250 for a real beater that still actually shoots to $600+ for a really nice all-original one. Add more for box and accessories.

Find out the barrel length. They were offered with a 4" or 6" barrel. Most people will pay more for the shorter barrel.

By the serial number, that one was made before S&W went to model numbers for their product line, so strictly speaking it is a Highway Patrolman, or as some would say, a pre-28.
