Stopped by the local pawn shop that I have got to know well and he had just purchased a Model 39-2. He offered it to me at a little above his cost to cover the paperwork. He is returning a favor I did for him. The gun is about 88-90%. The finish is rough with minor pitting on the slide and wear marks and scratches on the frame. It's wearing Pachymeyr grips. The bore is dirty but seems to be alright. Can't really tell till it's cleaned. He told me $225.00 plus tax. The serial number puts it as a 1977 gun. Though I might get it for carry or a truck gun. Is it worth the money? Thanks for the input. Mike
