Last week I sold a pre 39..... a 98% gun shop save.... but because of the extractor issue with the pre -2 39s and it's overall "unfired" condition I was never going to shoot it. Any way that transaction got me thinking about some other "gun shop saves" in the safe that will never be shot.
I have a Model 37 (Ser. # J537xxx) from 76-77, round butt w. a 3inch pinned barrel......I'd call it +95% (maybe never fired outside the factory)...... with a faint turn line.
Did some research here and only found one thread from about a year ago talking about pricing a similar 37 at between $450-500 up to one at $600.
Have things changed now that "the rush" is over.... ?
