I tried some of the Privi Partizan 30 caliber, 150 gr FMJ bullets available from Graf and others. I used two rifles: one an 03-A3 I rescued from a sporterizing job and made into a replica 03-A4. It has a 2 groove barrel. The other was a Mauser Model 1996 straight pull rifle. Both were in 30-06 and both wore 10X scopes. Both rifles are capable of 11/4 inch groups, 10 shots, at 100 yds off a bench rest, using Sierra 168 gr Matchkings. I shot 10 round groups: the 03-A3 didn't like the bullet very well; it shot a 3.8 inch group with a mean radius of 1.0. The Mauser liked it better: 2.5 inches and a mean radius of .8". It looks like these are suitable for anything from plinking to jhust short of outright competitive shooting depending on how your rifle likes them.
