Problem with Model 10

I've got a 10-6 that I bought new back in the early 70's. Lately in double action shooting the cylinder locks up. At first I thought it was the trigger return spring causing the problem but I replaced it and still have the problem. The revolver will not malfunction when dry firing but you can't get through a cylinder full without a hangup with live ammo. I'm thinking maybe it's the hand that's the problem now. The only way to free up the revolver is to open the cylinder. I could use some expertise on this one.

Make absolutely sure you are fully releasing the trigger so it can recover. If you need I will explain why it locks if you don't do this!

Firing pin hanging up on a spent cartridge?

Is the gun well cleaned?

Many possibilities...

Look at the sylinder. Can you move it back and forth? If so, it probably is and "endshake" problem.... The front of the sylinder comes in contact with the barrel when shooting. Look at the front of the sylinder and see if there are any drag marks....
