Problem with Outlook Express

For the last week or so,I have been receiving e-mails which I cannot delete. No particular sender. No pattern that I can detect. Totally random. Any idea what the problem might be?

Evenin' Dick. Just the one problem. Can't delete a very small portion of the many e-mails I receive daily. Damned computers!

If the emails are junk mail there are ways to completely block specific senders. I haven't tried it yet but am waiting for some good spam to try it out on.

All are approved senders who have been on my contacts list for quite some time. As I said,there's no discernible pattern. Some with attachments,some without. I might get 40 e-mails from different people in a day and only one or two cannot be deleted using the conventional "click on delete" method. Just get a message saying that the e-mail cannot be deleted. Damned computers!

Used to have big problems with I.E/O.E - slow, locked up regularly, just terrible. Then overnight the problem went away. Haven't had a minutes problem in over a year. It's amazing what switching to Firefox can do.

new folder

You might try moving the email to a different folder and then delete them from there. Select edit, then move to folder or create a new folder.
I don't know if it will work but at least you might be able to do something.

Just tried it. Pop up said "the selection cannot be moved." Damned computers!

Try editing the message by deleting some of the characters.
After editing save or close the message and then go back and try to delete.
There's help on the web, just type in the problem.
I found the above suggestion by typing outlook express cannot delete message.
