I received a phone call from my youngest son (WV2A) last evening informing me that his oldest son (will turn 19 on the 28th) had passed all the necessary tests to be accepted into the police department.
He will be sworn in on October 31st.
The academy will not start until January so I guess he'll be doing a lot of cleaning and mundane work until then.

Very proud of him as I know both his great grandfather's will be looking down on him. Both were in law enforcement.

Way to go Logan!!!

Photo of Logan along with his father, grandpa, uncle.

I'm the father, brother, and son-in-law of law enforcement officers. I tell people I could never have gone into that profession because I don't have the patience for it, and because the cars aren't big enough to hold all the ammo I would want to carry...

Congratulations to your grandson, Masterbuck. He's chosen a challenging and demanding career...please convey to him the best wishes of all of us here for his success, and may God bless and protect him.
