I bought my MP in febuary and so far have shot about 10 clips it hasnot had a hiccup yet. I am a former member of the ARMY and i wish I had one of these during my sevice the deletion of the foreward assit makes it more manuverable not getting hung up on packs or other gear.

That's exactly the thing the guy who sold me my Sport told me. He said his preference on all his ARs is to have uppers with no FA for less snagging when maneuvering the gun.

It is a great gun to shoot.

Ha Ha I had to.....welcome Weir :D:D:D

Who's more annoying; the "English" police or the "Magazine" police? I think we all knew what he meant.

Clips vs Magazines

When I was in the service back in '68, before a few of you puppies were even born, there were a lot of guys who called a 'mag' a 'clip', and they used the term interchangably. I don't know when the terminology was standardized, but I knew what weir meant. Gawd... just saying that makes me feel old! :(

When I was in the service come to think of it they always referred to it as a clip....JayHawk was right we all knew what he was saying...

A co-worker did a stretch in the Marines. He calls them clips too. I am forever correcting him. One of these days I'll beat it into him. :D
Good luck with getting him to change! The older I get, the harder I dig in my heels and really don't want to change! These days, I let all my children do whatever changing that needs done while I just kick back in my recliner, spoil my grandbabies rotten, and then send them home to torture my kids for what they put me through when they were teenagers. Payback is H*LL! :D
