Hello, were can i find a book that lists the born date of s&w guns by the serial ##'s ? is there such a thing ?
I know S&W will give you this info. for like $50.00 per. gun ?

The standard catalog of Smith and Wesson has what your looking for and is a great reference source. You can buy it online. Ron.

The Standard Catalog of S & W 3rd edition has this data, not complete but fairly so. The factory uses ship dates (when the gun leaves after being sold) instead of production dates. Hope this is helpful.
