I am wanting to modify and change my 15-22, wondering how to remove and change the quad rail. Thanks.

need tacticool22s barrel wrench, and barrel vise clamps to unscrew the barrel nut that is holding the quad rail on

you got to get a "ShooWrench" for the barrel nut that holds the rail and barrel on, but as far as changing the rail, I don't think that there is anyone making a different model, the way the the barrel is attached, it uses the rail to pin the barrel to the upper, upper-barrel-rail-barrel nut.

Tacticool22 makes a free float adapter that you can use to replace the OEM barrel nut. It lets you use a normal free float handguard. You can also get a delta ring and clamp-on gas block so you can use a carbine handguard or drop-in quad rail. There are several threads about the conversion.
