Been over 2 years since I had her out. 69' 19-3 4" 357mag.

I had forgot what THE finest revolver in the world was all about.

I only wish every revolver lover had a chance to experience what this awesome firearm feels and shoots like!

God Bless America!

Took my 19-4 to the range last week. First 25 rds at 7 yards, all inside the 10 ring, and most in the X. Shot 25 more at 15 and 25 yards, half inside the 9, and none outside the 8. For me, that's really good shooting, and the gun has a lot to do with it. By far the most accurate and easy to shoot revolver I own.

Nice shooting!

I've shot many a revolver in my 51 years. But, the 19 is by far my all time favorite! It's also the most beautiful I've ever owned.

Be safe out there and God bless.

I bought a nib 19-3 a couple years ago. I bought it to shoot. Thousands of rounds later I'm glad I bought it and glad I shot it. One problem is that the 19s are gateway guns leading to the obsession with more Smiths.

Yes the model 19 is on my lost list of revolvers to own someday. At least it's in the top 5.
Allen, I was hoping to see a picture....

Thanks, Allen. I don't always shoot that well, but it's fun when I do. I took my Colt Series 70 Government on that same day, and didn't shoot anywhere near as well with it as the Model 19.

I second everything you say about the 19-3. The very first S&W I ever bought was a 4" nickle plated 19-3 which I used while a student in seminary. After graduation I gave it to my father. Sadly someone else got it. One day... I will find another one!

Pics of my 4" 19-3 1969 vintage. ENJOY!

Actually took mine out with my wife tonight and put a couple hundred rounds through it (.38, .38+P, and of course .357) mine's a 2.5" snub but damn I love how accurate it is. Plus it always seems to get the attention of other at the range lol, I had some younger guy's next to me tonight shooting a .45 they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if it was right in front of them, at anyrate as soon as we started lettin off with the .357 round's they were quick to peek over to our lane and ask what we were shooting hehe. But it's no joke, the 19's really are one of the best revolvers ever made.

Love my 19-3 that I purchased new in 1975. Along about 1985 I thought I would replace it with a "better" gun...Colt Python...well it didn't take long for the Python to get traded away and I never looked back. Thankfully, I still had the 19-3 and of course a few more now. Sweet guns.
