I have an old Victory model revolver I picked up awhile back. I was noticing that the blue book shows the Victory's only available in 2 or 4 in barrels. Mine has a 5 in barrel. Is the book wrong or what. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A five inch barrel is indicative of a 38/200 revolver, also known as the British Victory. These were .38 S&W revolvers shipped to Britian on the lend lease program. Many returned to the States poorly rechambered for .38 special.

nosaints...

Post some pics if you can! If it's a British Service Revolver Victory it most likely has some extra stampings on it... these may possibly help determine where it was used.
