When she found out she had been wrong I used to hear ... "I am so mad at you .... you are always RIGHT " ! She must have preferred a husband who was always wrong. When she left, I thought "Well .. at least I will have far less STRESS in my life now". And once again, I was right 
My first two wives were just practice runs, learning to know what to say and when and keeping "suggestions" to myself. Present wife & I will be marred (No. I didn't spell "married" wrong!) for 25 years in 10 days. Not ONCE did any of them say that I was ever right. Now, my present wife's mother did tell all her church ladies and VFW Aux. ladies how smart I was and could fix their furnaces and A/C and anything electrical in their houses. She farmed me out countless times, only every one had a foot in the grave so the $7 from the coffee can was more than enough pay; I just wanted out of there!

They just might, to another woman very close to them, admit that you had been right about something. Note the "might" along with the qualifier "just". The only way you're gonna hear about it is from the trusted "other". Or maybe a third party the comment was shared with.
About loaning you out as labor, skilled or otherwise.......this varies.
Before we were even serious my second wife loaned us both out to a co-worker so the co-workers kid could have her Xmas presents fully assembled in the AM. They chatted and swilled wine, I worked. Should have taken the hint and moved on.

Mine realizes I have strengths and weaknesses. She has always been supportive to help me build on my strengths, but she doesn't mind occasionally reminding me of my weaknesses either.

My wife hasn't forgotten the things I haven't even done yet.
My experience with women is that they tell me how intelligent I am but then they still seem to think that they know more about anything pertaining to relationships than I do
