Question concerning sale....

I have been a long time reader.
I became interested in S&W revolvers
after a lifetime of Colt 1911's.
Time can be painful.

As I have aged I am beginning to suffer the
effects of arthritis in my hands.
This makes the 1911 abit more difficult.

Made the decision to add a couple of S&W revolvers
which I did.
Trade in of my Colts at the local gun shop
would have been brutal.

On Jan 1st I listed my Colts on an auction site.
Monday the 4th the "speech" seems to make me
a criminal.
Terrible timing on my part.
Transaction would be FFL to FFL.
Follow through or cancel the auction.

Insight would be grateful.

Too bad ya don't live in Kalifornistan. All the Colt 1911s dropped off of our "not too unsafe" roster. You cn still PPT of course but prices on our WTS board are through the roof. As in beat up old 80 series asking more than a brand new Dan Wesson.

I have no idea if they're actually getting those prices.

You can load up some fairly powderpuff target loads for those 1911s ya know...

The OP doesn't say, but his problems with his 1911s may be racking the slide or manipulating the controls because of his arthritis rather than recoil.

Pre Obama speech I avoided and would not sell to anyone in California or New York.

Too much trouble to risk anyone looking into why you are selling firearms into those states regardless if they are some right own list. Now, I do not think I am going to sell anything until this EO works its way out.
