Question on Model 31

I have run across a model 31 (silver) Flat latch with diamond grips. It is not a 5 screw. Can not find one for sale anywhere, none on G. B. nor have any sold for a while. This snub looks like new. The man who has it would not take 600 for it, so would have to offer 650.00. But not sure if it is worth that? What do you think, just the gun, no box or anything. Thanks Ron

I would gladly fork over $650 for the 32 Regulation Police (Model 31) you described.

If it's not a Model 31-1 then it's an I-frame from between 1958 and about 1961.

If it's really "like new" then yes I think $650 is a fair price. If you don't mind a bit of finish wear you can definitely find them for less, though.
