Question on sight adjusters

What vintage were these blue steel sight adjusters (screw drivers ) made/used?

Approximately 1950-1955. The sight screwdriver with the knurled Al handle was introduced in 1956. I am not sure what sight screwdriver was shipped with transition target revolvers in the 1940s. It may have been one like yours, or the sight screwdriver with the knurled steel handle and nickel plated that was shiped with the K-22 40 when it was introduced.

The screwdriver shipped with the 22/40 was the nickel plated steel tool---for one. That said, there very well may have been a change in mid-model---before or after. Screwdrivers aren't high on the list to which I paid attention.
