I am making a leather holster for a customer who has a S&W model 18 revolver which is the .22 caliber.

I have a replica model 10 on hand for the molding. Is the model 18 the same size in the K frame series or is it a bit smaller due to the caliber?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

An 18 is an adjustable sighted K frame with a narrow barrel rib. Usually 18s have a Baughman (? spelling) ramp sight.

Same frame size but if your holster front comes clear up to the hammer, it'll hit the rear sight before the gun is fully in the holster.
